MLK: You Made It a Day On!

Hundreds of Keystoners heeded the call for a Day of Service and fixed Clubs, fed the homeless and ederly and more

The call went far and wide on the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday (Jan. 18) to make it Day of Service for Keystoners and Club members across the country. And of course, like the first-rate leaders they are, Keystoners responded like troopers in the battle of doing good!

Keystoners fed the elderly, scrubbed Clubs, conducted coat drives and put on theatrical works celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. King. It was truly a Day On, Not a Day Off!

The FBR Keystoners of Greater Washington (D.C.) always represent! They visited a nursing home and groomed the elderly patients and took care of basic needs. But they went beyond their original plans by also feeding their new friends at lunch and extending their time of service! Can you say: KEYSTONE!!

The Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco worked with the local organization One Warm Coat Foundation to put on a wildly successful clothing drive that collected coats, shoes and more!

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver cleaned up their facilities through an effort they dubbed Scrub-a-Club.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Holland (MI) did an "In the Name of Love Neighborhood Blitz" and packed over 60 gift boxes of food for the less fortunate.

All that and so much more. A Day of Service? Naww, just call it what we do as Keystoners!
